Architectural Frozen Music

"I CALL ARCHITECTURE FROZEN MUSIC."
- Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

New York City is beautiful.
Despite the fact I have been living here for nearly 3 decades, I still find it is exciting and there are always something that excite my eyes.

These are just a few classical architectural details to share with you.

that all the glory of the world may beautify it.”

Navy & White China

Spring is here!
Navy and white table china is a great classic color palette!
white flowers or multi-colors palette flowers or a pot of
tangerines as center piece would make
the table coming alive!

"Just as Buddhas are covered with gold,
so people want fine china on table."

Limoges Porcelain - Perlée Bleu.
To achieve the vibrant Mediterranean blue, craftsmen hand-paint a unique blend of cobalt blue around the pearls.

DIFFA's DINING BY DESIGN

"Guess Who's Coming to Dinner?"

Art of Table Setting
DIFFA's DINING BY DESIGN 2013 @ NYC

There were many tables, a handful were quite interesting and exciting indeed. However, below 3 were what I picked that absolutely captured my eyes.

Architectural Digest Table by Margaret Russell
Bold graphic strip table cloth and china - all in black and white including the hanging light fixture above the table; with a bouquet of vibrant colors of flowers. It was striking!

Funny and Whimsical!
Lots of red and black
with those long boots hanging above
it is definitely a statement and creates many conversations!
Leave it up to your imagination!

Purple always create that mysterious and elegant ambiance.
All the purple are Hershey's dark chocolate kisses!
The 'exploded' ones are the ones that people unwrapped and ate.
Very interactive dining!
