Sample Room

Watching Oscar Re La Renta's video of

his sample room ... that brought back those
years I was working with the late Mary Vinson.
It is a privilege to have a sample room
with seamstresses, cutter and pattern maker,
and sewing machine and other equipment and
rolls of sample fabrics, trimmings and supplies etc
It is so convenient to walk to the next room and
"create" anything and make any alterations.
Any great design vision, still need all the
relevant people to materialize it!
Sample room is a place where all great creations begin.
