A Single Man

I went to see Tom Ford's A Single Man.
The story is simple, and yet it unveiled
many complexities of life.
It was beautifully directed.
A brilliant movie.

"I don't know if you've ever been obsessed by anyone. We all have. I've been a stalker at times in my life. You know. Where you sit outside someone's house hoping you'll catch a glimpse of them through the window."

~ Tom Ford ~

A new twist in Bar Stool.

Brilliant bar stool!
It looks like a sculpture in your kitchen or bar.
This bar stool from Supernatural Studios in London,
the bicycle seat-like shape created to fit to human contours,
likely to be better than a flat surface.

Snowman at Carl Schurz Park

After all the good meals and sweets on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day,
it is nice to stretch arms and take it easy on Boxing Day!

I came across this snowman at Carl Schurz Park.
The NY cap and the fur collar and buttons and shoelaces.
It is adorable!

The snowman made me smile.
Thank you to whoever made that!

Life is beautiful!

Seatings from Philippe Starck

I love Philippe Starck.
I don't love every piece from him,
but I love many interesting and brilliant pieces from him.

This chair from Philippe Starck 2009 collection.

I like this chair.
I find it is sensual and seXy!
This is also from Philippe Starck his 2009 collection.
This make an interesting element in a lobby or living space.

This giant planter from his 2008 collection.

I like it!
It'd be a winner for any hospitality project;
and those who has big terrace or indoor garden
would make a great statement as well.
It is like a sculpture!

Beautiful Living - Christmas is here in Manhattan!

Christmas in Manhattan!

I took a stroll with my camera in Upper East Side
and I came across some of these
lovely Christmas decors.

Life is beautiful when you take time
to look at what is around you.

First snowstorm in Big Apple 2009

The whole world outside the window was white.
White Christmas came a little early!
It looked so pure and clean and light.

I rushed out the apartment...
plenty of snow on the grounds.

My footsteps were light and fluffy.

I raced to Carl Schurz Park,

there were many early birds already.
People were smiling ...
greeting each other "good morning".
What a beautiful morning!
