First snowstorm in Big Apple 2009

The whole world outside the window was white.
White Christmas came a little early!
It looked so pure and clean and light.

I rushed out the apartment...
plenty of snow on the grounds.
My footsteps were light and fluffy.

I raced to Carl Schurz Park,
there were many early birds already.
People were smiling ... greeting each other "good morning".
What a beautiful morning!
