  1. The Astra figure by Chiparus is incredible. The androgenous dancer seems moving while standing still, and evoques the mystical presence of a being from another universe. Astra, other worldly, Ballets Russe, looks just like Nijinski. I would love to own this striking beauty! JB

    It is indeed an awesome piece!
    You might know that the face is carved from ivory! There were a few pieces at this viewing, but this piece is the largest of all. Cheers!
